Basketball Shoe Culture - The Air Jordans

The Nike Air Jordan is a popular brand of basketball shoe that has become a cultural phenomenon since its debut in 1984.  Designed and collaborated with legendary basketball player Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan line has become one of the most recognizable and influential sneaker brands in the world.

These are the first pair of Air Jordans I purchased in 1985 at the Nike store in Seattle Washington.  I think I paid around $65 USD for them.  Iconic !!!
